Guwahati: Alliance Air on Thursday announced the launch of multiple flight operations in Northeast. With these flight operations, the Alliance Air will be connecting many dots on the aviation map of India's eastern part. The airline is all set to commence its flight operations from Guwahati to Shillong and onwards to Dimapur and back effective from November 22. According to an official statement, the airline will deploy its 70 seated aircraft in these locations.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said, ''@allianceair connecting Guwahati to Shillong and then to Dimapur as per PM's resolve The flight will be started from 22 November. The Government is committed to make efforts towards ensuring socio-economic development in the North East of India by facilitating regional connectivity''. As per the statement from the airlines, this flight will operate (Guwahati to Shillong and onwards to Dimapur and back) under Government of India RCS Udan Scheme.
