'Gujarat Drone Mahotsav' to be held on November 26 at GMDC ground in the presence of CM Bhupendra Patel

Ahmedabad: 'Gujarat Drone Festival' has been organised on November 26, 2021 at GMDC ground by various drone companies of Gujarat in collaboration with Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) Government of India, Government of Gujarat, Drone Federation of India (DFI), Gujarat University and IDSR.

Over the years, drones have proved to be very important in various governmental and commercial sectors such as defense and military, agriculture, forestry, surveys, health, fire department and others.

Keeping in mind the vision given by Prime Minister Narendra to make India a drone manufacturing hub by 2030, Ministry of Civil Aviation is organising drone awareness programs in various states of the country.

The program is being organised to create awareness among the people of our country, mainly among the drone-based end users such as farmers, students, government and private institutions. This event has been organised keeping in view the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat and Defence Expo.

About 400 to 500 participants including university professors, students, farmers, researchers and government officials and institutions are going to participate in this program.

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel will be the chief guest in this program. Health minister Rushikesh Patel, forest minister Kiritsinh Rana, ministry of civil aviation (MoCA) secretary Amber Dubey and Air Marshal RK Dhir will also be present as special guests.
