Chennai: Chennai air customs has seized three postal parcels containing contraband drugs worth Rs 3.65 lakh.
Out of the three parcels two arrived from the Netherlands and were addressed to people in Chennai and Trichy.
A total of 63 green-coloured tablets, suspected to be MMDA drugs (commonly known as ecstasy), having a total weight of 23 gram, were found inside.
In the fourth case, five gram of meth crystal was found concealed in a parcel that arrived from the Netherlands and was addressed to a person in Tiruvannamalai, according to an official release.
In the last case, 57 gram of ganja was found concealed in a parcel which arrived from Canada.
