Kolkata: The United Arab Emirates on Saturday withdrew mandatory requirement for passengers travelling from Kolkata to undergo an RT-PCR test within six hours before flight departure at the airport in addition to the RT-PCR test within 48 hours prior to departure.
Henceforth, flyers boarding Emirates, FlyDubai, IndiGo, Air India or any other direct fight to Dubai will undergo test only 48 hours before departure. Once Etihad commences flights between Kolkata and Abu Dhabi, the rule will be applicable.
