Chennai: A 26-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable shot himself dead inside a restroom at the Chennai international airport on Thursday.
The deceased, Yashpal, was a native of Rajasthan. The reason for his suicide was not unknown, police said.
Yashpal used his self-loading rifle (SLR) to shoot on his forehead. He died on the spot. He was on duty at the departure terminal.
The airport police have registered a case and were trying to find whether he had left behind any suicide note.
