New Delhi: There is a famous idiom in the vocabulary of the English language, "Vanish into thin air", which, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, means to vanish completely into the thin air all of a sudden. The idiom has been used in numerous literary pieces and also in relief, describing mostly the sudden, inexplicable disappearance of a person or an object for that matter. But for a plane with hundreds of passengers? Well, even though the thought seems outrageous, it has happened on multiple occasions. There are many tragic tales of aircraft vanishing into the thin air, and Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is one of the most prominent of all of them.
