Bansal will join Adani Group from Ericsson where he
served as senior vice president and head of market
area Europe and Latin America.
According to sources, the development firms up the
management structure of the conglomerates’s airport
operations.
R.K. Jain, will serve as chief executive officer of
airports (aero) operations, while Harshad Jain will
continue to serve as executive officer (non-aero).
B. V. J. K. Sharma will continue to be the chief executive
officer at Navi Mumbai International Airport and
Prakash Tulsiani as chief executive officer of Mumbai
International Airport Ltd.
In 2019, Adani Enterprises emerged as the lowest
bidder and secured the rights for operation,
management and development of airports in
Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram,
Mangaluru, and Guwahati, which were privatised by
the government for a period of 50 years.
