Emirates will be honoring Diwali, the Hindu festival of light, on board its flights to Indian cities between October 23-28, 2022.
To celebrate Diwali, passengers traveling to and from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the following cities will be treated to a selection of Diwali sweets and desserts:
- Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD)
- Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR)
- Cochin International Airport (COK)
- Chennai International Airport (MAA)
- Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)
- Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD)
- Trivandrum International Airport (TRV)
- Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU)
- Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM)
Emirates said that economy passengers will be given a serving of traditional motichoor laddu (round shaped, chickpea-based delicacies) with their hot breakfast.
Meanwhile, first and business class passengers will be offered mixed nut tribooj garnished with edible silver leaves.
