There have been many reports of weird in-flight incidents and air-rage of late. Amidst them, a video of a young man asking a female flight attendant to open the plane's window so that he can spit out gutka has surfaced recently and is going viral on social media. The incident happened in an IndiGo flight.
In the viral clip, a man sitting on an aisle seat is seen stroking something in his palm. He suddenly calls and requests a stewardess to open the flight window so he could spit out the gutka. “Excuse me, could you please open the window, I need to spit out gutka,” the man can be heard saying.
However, instead of getting angered, the air hostess bursts into laughter after hearing the passenger’s weird yet funny request. Not just her, other passengers also found it too hilarious to not laugh. Even the man who made the strange request also started laughing as he was recorded by a passenger sitting on the other side of his aisle.
Posted on Instagram by user Govind Sharma, the video is captioned as, “tag their gutka lover friend." Expectedly, the video took the internet by storm, garnering close to 5 million views and over 1.2 million likes.
It is possible that the entire video might have been a prank and that the passenger just wanted to get a reaction out of the stewardess and didn’t actually want the window to be opened. Despite that, the video still managed to get plenty of traction and funny comments.
