Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed building of state’s civil aviation directorate near the Jaiprakash Narayan international (JPNI) airport in Patna.

Soon after the inauguration, the CM inspected the directorate building.

He also held a meeting with the officials in the conference hall of the new building and took detailed information about the arrangements made in the directorate building.

After that, the CM took stock of the ongoing construction and beautification works at the JPNI airport and issued necessary instructions to the officials.

While responding to media queries outside the airport, the CM said the state government was making a separate approach road so that people do not face any kind of difficulty in reaching the Patna airport.

Nitish also said when the proposed civil airport at Bihta would become functional, people would have more accessibility.

He said the state government would ensure that people do not face any kind of difficulty while going and coming out from the both airports.

While talking about the ongoing construction works at the airport, Nitish said the development works were being executed in the area of the state government. “The work of one part has been finished, while the work of another part is in progress. I have come here to take stock of the ongoing construction works,” he said.
