Hyderabad airport issues traffic advisory due to surge in student travel

GMR hyderabad airport has issued a traffic advice to address the congestion brought on by a considerable rise in meeters/greeters and cars at the airport in light of the spike in student traffic travelling overseas for education. According to the advise, there are now between 50 and 60 more visits each passenger, which has caused congestion on the access road and ramps and difficulty for other drivers.

The GMR hyderabad airport released a statement in which it stated, "We humbly request and solicit the cooperation of our passengers to self-restrict the number of meeters/greeters and vehicles as the airport is also placed on a high-security alert for Independence Day." Due to Independence Day, the airport is now on maximum security alert.

Airports Council international (ACI-World) awarded the GMR hyderabad international airport a Certificate of Accreditation Level 1 designation. This accreditation, according to a news release, is a multilayered accrediting process that honours airports that excel at customer experience management. As a consequence of the hyderabad Airport's commitment to the customer experience, it received Level 1 Accreditation. The current airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme examines outcomes for consumers and workers, while the airport customer Experience Accreditation evaluates customer experience management practises.
