Bengaluru-Mangaluru flight takes off 12 mins earlier leaving 6 passengers stranded

Bengaluru: An Indigo flight operating between Bengaluru and Mangaluru departed 12 minutes earlier than its scheduled time, leaving six passengers stranded at the station on Saturday. These passengers had to wait for 6 hours for the next available flight.

Indigo flight 6E 6162 was originally scheduled to depart from Bengaluru's Kempegowda Airport at 2.55 pm. However, the airline made a last-minute change, and the flight took off at 2.42 pm instead. Some passengers had completed all the necessary checks and arrived with 3 to 5 minutes left for the scheduled departure time. Unfortunately, the plane had already taken off, resulting in six passengers being left behind.

The frustrated passengers expressed their anger against Indigo flight officials, stating that the flight timings were changed without any prior notice. Despite booking tickets and completing web check-ins, they were unaware of the change in departure time and found it irresponsible on the part of the airline officials.

The affected passengers had to wait for 6 hours before finally traveling to Mangalore on the 8.20 pm flight. Their inconvenience and dissatisfaction were evident due to the unexpected turn of events.
