Belgavi: After years of persistent efforts by the residents of the district, a significant breakthrough has been achieved as IndiGo Airlines and Star Airlines have announced the commencement of daily flight services connecting Belgavi with Delhi and Pune, said Rajya Sabha MP Iranna Kadadi. In a tweet he shared the news.
This development is expected to enhance connectivity and convenience for the people of the region, fostering economic growth and facilitating travel.
In a much-awaited move, IndiGo Airlines has responded to the long-standing demand of the residents by confirming the launch of daily flights between Delhi and Belgaum. Starting from October 1, travelers will have the opportunity to experience seamless air travel between these two cities. This decision is seen as a significant stride towards bolstering regional connectivity and facilitating efficient travel options for both business and leisure travelers.
Following suit, Star Airlines has also stepped up to meet the growing demand for enhanced air connectivity. Starting from October 29, the airline will initiate a daily flight service between Pune and Belagavi. This move is expected to offer residents and travelers a convenient and efficient means of transportation between these two bustling cities, unlocking new opportunities for trade, tourism, and collaboration.
Further catering to the rising travel needs, IndiGo Airlines is set to introduce a three-days-a-week flight service between Pune and Belagavi. Scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, this service is slated to begin from October 31.
