Jaipur: Several passengers took to social media on Friday to complain about flight delays from Jaipur International Airport for up to 12 hours.
A flight from Jaipur to Mumbai, which was to depart at 11.55pm on Thursday, took off at 11.10am on Friday and was rescheduled four times.
"We were flying from Jaipur to Bombay...in flight number I5 337 Air Asia scheduled at 23.55, which got delayed and was rescheduled to 2.45am, then 3.15am, 6.20am and finally, 11.10am!
Almost a 12hr delay," said Yash Patel, a passenger on social media platform X.
Another passenger wrote, "24hr flight delay. No compensation, no food, no water, no baggage yet...stuck at Jaipur airport with a two-year-old baby!!!!."
Officials of Jaipur International Airport (JIA) said that the flights to Mumbai were delayed because a charter plane had veered off the runway in Mumbai, causing the operations stopped for some time.
