Thiruvananthapuram: The number of international flights from Thiruvananthapuram Airport will increase with the launch of new services by Oman, Etihad, and Malaysia airlines.
Oman Air will operate daily flights to Muscat beginning in October. Etihad Airways will conduct five services per week to Abu Dhabi starting January next year. Air India Express will conduct services between Doha-Thiruvananthapuram four days a week.
Talks are held with Air India on launching direct flights to European countries from the state capital. Furthermore, reports suggest that Batik Air Malaysia will some time in the future launch its services from Thiruvananthapuram
