2-YO Baby On Vistara Flight Who Was Resuscitated By AIIMS Docs Passes Away Due To Cardiac Arrest

We have recently heard some news of a miraculous incident of doctors saving the life of a 2-year-old baby after she stopped breathing on a Bengaluru-bound Vistara flight. She was suffering from congenital heart disease and had cyanosed as well and all these unfortunate health conditions led to a traumatising situation. On 28 August, 5 AIIMS New Delhi’s doctors were present on the same flight and they treated the child and saved her life. Unfortunately, the 2-year-old passed away on Thursday.

Right after the crew raised an alarm on the Vistara flight to know whether any doctor was present, 5 doctors assembled and immediately started treating her to save her life. Dr Avichala Taxac, Dr Damandeep Singh, Dr Oishika, Dr Navdeep Kumar, and Dr Rishabh Jain were flying on the Vistara flight and they resuscitated the child. Due to the life-threatening emergency and the sudden critical situation en route to Delhi from Bengaluru, the flight was even diverted to Nagpur. After rescuing her life, the baby was transferred to KIMS-KINGSWAY Hospitals in Nagpur.

Though her health conditions came under control a bit after the flight and she was undergoing treatment, she passed away at 3:15 AM today, according to a report by Hindustan Times. She was admitted to the KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals in Nagpur. The doctors worked relentlessly for 3 straight days to save the precious life but unfortunately, they could not save her.
