Malayalam actress Divya Prabha had recently filed a complaint with the Kerala Police, accusing a fellow passenger of misbehaving with her during a flight on an Air India aircraft. In an Instagram video, the actress described the distressing experience she had and stated that the lack of intervention from Air India authorities led her to file a complaint at a police station.
In the Instagram video, Divya opened up about how the passenger seated next to her started mocking her profession. According to the actress, the passenger was “making inappropriate gestures towards her” and was “physically disturbing her by not sitting properly”. She accused him of misbehaving, including inappropriate physical contact. Divya added that despite the issue being brought to the air hostess’ attention, the only action taken was changing her seat.
“I believe that every passenger has the right to travel comfortably in their assigned seat. However, in my case, I was allotted a different seat due to the demeaning behaviour of another passenger. After landing at Kochi airport, I reported the issue to the airport and airline authorities, who directed me to the police aid post at the airport,” said Divya. She is yet to receive a response from Air India regarding her complaint, she added.
