Air India is one of the top airlines in the world that keeps upgrading its fleet and services in order to give passengers a better experience, both on ground and inflight. To meet the growing travel demand, the carrier had placed a humongous order of 470 Airbus and Boeing aircraft in June during the Paris Air Show. And as it keeps adding advanced and more efficient jets, Air India’s new Airbus A320neo arrived in Delhi from Toulouse.
Set to join the Air India fleet soon, the new Airbus A320neo, VT-RTF looks spectacular in pictures shared on the airline’s social media handles. The interiors looked spacious and vibrantly-lit with mood lighting installed. The new aircraft is said to have around 186 economy class seats. It is also the first new Airbus A320neo to join the fleet after the airline was privatized.
Dubbed as the most successful commercial aircraft family ever. The AirbusA320neo has a great seating capacity. The aircraft can seat up to 194 passengers given a high-density configuration. This fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft has reduced CO2 emissions and gives up to 20% fuel savings. With around 900 tonnes of reduced CO2 emissions per jet, the Airbus A320neo contributes towards a sustainable future.
