Jharsuguda: Authorities of Veer Surendra Sai Airport here on Friday said IndiGo will commence flight services from Jharsuguda to Kolkata and Bengaluru from November 5 and 15, respectively.
Airport director Sandeep Tiwari said, “I am happy to announce that a new airline, Indigo, will start its operations from VSS Airport. Initially, flight operations will start for two sectors — Kolkata from November 5 and Bengaluru from November 15. For Kolkata, they will operate an ATR-72 aircraft while for Bengaluru flights, they will use an Airbus 320. Both flights will run all seven days a week. As per information, Indigo may also start flights to another sector like Delhi in winter.”
