Maldivian, the national airline of Maldives, has confirmed plans to launch flights to Bengaluru, India.
Scheduled to take off on 30 October 2023, the airline will operate two flights per week every Monday and Thursday using Airbus A320 aircraft with 138 economy class seats and 14 premium economy class seats.
The Male-Bengaluru flight is scheduled to leave Velana International Airport (MLE) at 09:35, arriving at Kempegowda International Airport (KLR) in Bengaluru at 12:15.
From Bengaluru, the flights are timed to leave at 13:15 and arrive in Male at 14:50.
Once travellers arrive in Maldives they can easily connect to onward destinations within the country using Maldivian's domestic network which currently consists of 17 destinations.
