Fresh concerns have emerged around employee dues at SpiceJet, with former staff alleging prolonged delays in receiving full and final settlements. Reports suggest over 500 ex-employees are yet to be paid, even years after resignation, amid the airline’s ongoing financial and operational challenges.
Rishita Bhardwaj, a former cabin crew member at SpiceJet, has alleged a prolonged delay in receiving her full and final (FnF) settlement, claiming that the dues remain unpaid even three years after her resignation.
In a LinkedIn post, Bhardwaj, who currently identifies as a Business Analyst and MBA candidate, stated that she served the airline for five years, working in high-pressure conditions while maintaining what she described as a “spotless professional record”.
She said that despite completing her full notice period at SpiceJet, her FnF settlement has not been cleared, significantly exceeding standard timelines for such payments. The delay, she added, has led to mental stress and disruptions in her personal life, as she has had to repeatedly follow up with the company through emails and other communication.
