IndiGo on Monday issued a travel advisory warning passengers of possible disruptions to flight schedules due to the rapidly evolving security situation in the Middle East following fresh escalation involving Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
The airline said schedules may be impacted by regional developments and advised travellers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport. It also said passengers would receive timely updates on their registered contact details and assured that its support teams remain available for assistance.
The notice comes after reports that Iran has carried out drone and missile strikes against the UAE, constituting one of the most serious violations of the cease-fire agreement reached on April 8.
As a result of the development, several airlines flying to Dubai and Sharjah have been forced to delay or reroute their flights.
