Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new terminal building at NAMO Airport in Daman on Friday, marking a major milestone for the Union Territory’s transport infrastructure. The airport inauguration kicked off PM Modi’s wider visit to Daman, during which he will launch and lay foundation stones for a massive suite of development projects valued at approximately Rs 2,970 crore. These initiatives span critical sectors, including healthcare, public welfare, tourism, and infrastructure.
