A commander of an IndiGo flight, which was on its final approach to land in the Mumbai airport, reportedly saw a drone flying at a distance from the aircraft on Tuesday.
Currently, drone flying is banned in India.
The said incident occurred around 5.55 pm when the Delhi-Mumbai flight 6E 755 was minutes from landing in Mumbai. "The pilot saw a blue and pink colored drone flying about 100 feet below the aircraft, about 3.5 kms eastwards," said a CISF official.
