Land allotted to 262 airport PAPs in ninth lottery draw by Cidco

Navi Mumbai: The ninth computerized lottery draw, held by Cidco for airport Project Affected Persons (PAPs), benefited 262 villagers who had consented to surrender their land. The draw was conducted for 70 plots under a 22.5% compensation scheme and for 192 plots under a rehabilitation and re-settlement plan.
These 262 PAPs will be allotted land in Pushpak Nagar and Badghar. "Those who surrendered their land are being allotted developed plots under the 22.5% scheme, as one-time compensation," said Mohan Ninawe, senior PRO, Cidco.
The town planning body still needs to acquire 671 hectares as it has 1,597 hectares in its possession to square up the total requirement of 2, 268 hectares for the airport project.
