Flight service has been severely hit at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIT) here due to foggy weather.
According to information a plane, which was scheduled to fly to Kolkata, could not take off due to fog layer spread over the airfield. The smog-layer has hindered visibility to a 50 to 100 metra distance at the airport, according to reports.
