Lost baggage? ‘Air Sewa’ app at your service

In an effort to provide a hassle-free travel experience to air travellers, the Aviation Ministry announced the launch of ‘Air Sewa’ app through which passengers can voice their grievances. Announcing its release, Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati asked everyone to spread the word. “All your air travel grievances can now be conveniently lodged at #AirSewa App. Please spread the word. #TransformingIndia,” he tweeted.
The app will provide a one-stop grievance redressal for passengers to register their complaints against erring airliners. It also provides flight details, including its arrival and departure timings. The app contains detailed information about airports across India. The aviation ministry hopes to make airlines accountable when it comes to refunding ticket cost and loss of baggage during travel.
