GoAir team to visit Surat airport

Surat: Yet another private airline company is vying to start flight operations from Surat airport.
GoAir's operational team headed by its vice-president (operational) Kamal Kikani will be visiting the Surat airport on Tuesday to explore the opportunities to operate flight services.
Sources said that the GoAir team will be inspecting the newly constructed 655 metres of runway and the ongoing work of re-construction of the 185 metre patch at the airport and other infrastructural facilities at the airport terminal.
It must be recalled that this is the second consecutive visit of GoAir senior officials to Surat. Earlier, the team headed by GoAir's vice-president (network and planning) Clayton Begido had visited the airport to explore the opportunities of flight services in February, 2016.
