Mumbai airport: Fire at domestic terminal, four engines on the spot

Mumbai: Scaring passengers, a fire was reported from the Mumbai's domestic airport's terminal building this afternoon.
The incident happened on second floor of the terminal and according to agency reports the situation is now under control.
Smoke was detected in office premises and four fire engines were pressed to service. A team from BMC disaster control also reached the spot.
"Smoke was detected in the IT store room of MIAL Office. Immediately the officials were asked to evacuate the office and Mumbai fire brigade was informed. The cause behind the smoke is being ascertained. The operations at the terminal is normal and unaffected," an official statement from the Airport Authority of India said.
