Extension at New Delhi Airport

With the increase of passengers flying in domestic airlines, T1 terminal of New Delhi airport seems to be over crowded. But there is good news for all the passengers.

The T2 terminal will soon be available for domestic airlines like Go Air, Indigo and Spice Jet. On a meeting by the aviation ministry, it has been decided that the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) will have to shift some of their airlines to T2 terminals by October end. However, it is said that, this action will take place after the festive season, Diwali.

The LCCs has three weeks of time to decide whether to shift their flights at one time or in fractions. After which, the ministry will take decisions as their final call.
