Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) which is the second largest airport in the world is struggling to keep up with quality and punctuality issues. IGIA, which handles over 40 million passengers every year, was ranked among the 10 worst airports in a survey conducted by AirHelp. A legal firm for flier grievances and compensation, AirHelp conducted the survey for 76 airports based on punctuality, service and quality, said Times of India quoting the survey. Unfortunately, Delhi’s IGIA was placed on the 67th spot but it wasn’t the only Indian airport to feature in the list of worst 10 airports. Apart from Delhi, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport also made it to the list and was placed at the 70th spot. However, what may surprise a few people is that Dubai’s airport was placed below IGIA in the list at the 69th spot. Here is the list of 10 worst airports:
Meanwhile, Singapore’s Changi airport was ranked as the best airport in the world followed by Germany’s Munich and Hong Kong.
