Flash strike by taxis at International Airport in Mumbai

Mumbai: More than a thousand cabs, including Kaali Peelis and Cool Cabs, operating at the International Airport at Sahar in Andheri East went on a flash strike this afternoon over parking issue.
The cabbies are demanding an additional prepaid stand and an exclusive parking space for them outside T2 International Airport. Said union leader A L Quadros :"The issue is being resolved and the strike may be called off in a couple of hours. The demand is for proper parking space for taxis."
Another union leader and ex MLA Krishna Hegde said that he has demanded for a second prepaid stand and a permanent parking lot for all taxis.
