Singapore Airlines cuts fares from Kolkata to Australasia destinations

Kolkata: Singapore Airlines today announced special fares to destinations across the Australasian region for flights from Kolkata, with as much as 20 per cent reduction in rates. "We have decided to slash fares up to 20 per cent to key destinations in Australia, China, Japan and Indonesia," the airlines' Manager Eastern India Bharath Mahadevan, said here.
The new return fare ex Kolkata to Bali has been reduced from Rs 25,000 to 20,000 and fares to Australian cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide brought down from Rs 33,300 to Rs 32,000, Mahadevan said.
The reduced fares would remain effective from April one to August 31, he said.
