Flight returns to Kolkata as snag suspected

Kolkata: Delhi-bound Indian plane, with 111 passengers on board, headed back to the N S C Bose International Airport here today shortly after take-off as the pilot suspected some technical snag in the engine, IA sources said.
The Airbus 320 returned to the airport half an hour after take-off at around around 8 AM and landed safely even as fire brigade personnel were kept stand-by along with other standard precautionary measures.
The grounded Airbus was immediately taken to the isolation bay, they said adding the aircraft would be allowed to fly after determining its air-worthiness.
