Jet Airways to increase service to Heathrow

Jet Airways is continuing its rapid expansion, with the introduction of a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft, enabling increased service between India and London.
From 13 June, the new A330 will fly from Delhi to London Heathrow three times per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. On the other four days of the week, this route will be served by the A340-300E aircraft.
Deployment of the new A330 aircraft on the Delhi/London route will enable Jet Airways to operate a daily second frequency between Mumbai and London Heathrow effective July 10, 2006 using the A340-300E aircraft.
The first of its kind to be operated in India, the A330 has joined one of the world’s youngest aircraft fleets, and taken the airline’s fleet size to 55.
