Kingfisher signs maintenance deal with GAMCO

Abu-Dhabi-based Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Co. (GAMCO) is to provide India’s Kingfisher Airlines with maintenance repair and overhaul services for ten of its aircraft.
Kingfisher signed a maintenance deal with GAMCO to provide support to the engines and components of ten of the
airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft.
Saif Al Mughairy, GAMCO’s general manager, highlighting India’s ambitious growth, said: “We will bring new scale effects and savings to an airline which is on the fast track for further expansion with most modern aircraft. We are keen to further support this market with our products and services.”
Hitesh Patel, executive vice president, Kingfisher Airlines Limited, said that the new cooperation with GAMCO is part of
the company’s plan to ensure reliable operational support and to provide regional MRO connectivity across India.
