All flights to sub-continent fully booked till January 7

Doha: An increase in the number of returning expatriate workers have kept the flights unusually busy during this winter, especially to destinations like Nepal and Bangladesh, according to travel industry sources.
All flights to major Asian destinations have been running full, despite the fact that a number of families have already left for vacation earlier this month.
Most of the expatriate schools remain closed for winter holidays since the last week of November. These schools, which are scheduled to open after the Eid Al Adha holidays have a prolonged winter vacation this year, thanks to the Doha Asian Games, which concluded on Friday.
The sources said yesterday that almost all flights to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Philippines were fully booked until the first week of January. The fact that the Eid Al Adha holidays coincide with the New Year has added to this rush.
