No entry for visitors at Dabolim airport from Dec 24 to Jan 2

Vasco: The Airport Authority of India at Dabolim Airport, Goa, have decided to stop issuing visitor passes, at Dabolim airport premises, from December 24 to January 2, 2007.
Following the threats of attacks at airports and of hijacking from the Al-Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Toiba, the AAI, Dabolim Airport, Goa, director, Mr Paul Manickam had convened a special meeting of the various security units at Dabolim Airport premises on December 16.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), chief security officer, Dabolim Airport, Mr Hari Om Gandhi, the terminal manager, Dabolim Airport, Mr Utpal Baruah, officials of all airlines, representatives of chartered flights, custom officials, emigration officials, officials of Goa police and traffic cell were present for the meeting.
