New Delhi: Chennai and Ahmedabad will join Qatar Airways’ network this summer. The two Indian cities will be served with seven flights a week from Doha. Qatar Airways already offers nonstop services from Doha to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The airline will fly a bigger Airbus A330 aircraft on its Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram routes, to increase its capacity on these sectors.
The airline’s flights to Kochi and Hyderabad will also be increased to two and three flights respectively, to give both cities a daily operation, and each will be served with a two-class Airbus A321.
