A smooth flight for Indus Airways, Jagson Airlines

Chandigarh: Four months after the launch of Indus Airways operations, the flights are having over 60 per cent occupancy rate. This, when February is considered to be a lean month for the airline industry.
GM (Operations), Indus Airways, Captain M S Sandhu, said the traffic on Indus Airways flights is on an upswing.
""Our morning flight from Delhi gets on an average about 30 to 35 passengers daily, and similar is the case for the flight to Mumbai. The 5 pm flight from Chandigarh to Delhi is the most popular, with close to 40 tickets being sold every day.
Jagson Airlines, which started operations in December last year, too is happy with the response. Mahesh of Jagson
Airlines said, the morning flight from Delhi to Chandigarh is mostly full with 17 to 18 people on the flight to Chandigarh, utilising the 18 seater Dornear aircraft to full capacity.
However, the flight to Kullu and Dharamsala has about 8 to 10 passengers,” said Mahesh. Jagson Airlines operates between Delhi-Chandigarh-Kullu-Dharamsala and back thrice a week.
