Bangalore: A day after passengers on the Bangalore-Delhi flight were stranded for nearly 16 hours at HAL airport, GoAir is looking at the damage-control measures.
According to sources in the airport, the airline is planning to refund the tickets of passengers and offer them free tickets.
Bad weather, technical snag and Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) issues had led to the flight delay on Friday, leaving more than 100 passengers stranded.
According to sources, the airline had offered alternative arrangements and requested passengers to board other airline flights as its flight crew had crossed their FDTL.
The departure time was changed from 9.30 pm (Thursday) to 12 midnight, but the flight took off as late as 1.30 am, only to return due to bad weather conditions in Delhi.
With passengers refusing to disembark, the situation was tense for hours at the airport.
When the flight finally took off at 3.30 pm on Friday, passengers had already had their share of spats with the airline officials.
