Times Media bags ad rights for Mumbai airport

New Delhi: Times Innovative Media Pvt Ltd (TIMPL) has won the advertising rights at the country’s largest airport, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (domestic and international) in Mumbai. With this, TIMPL — which recently bagged the ad rights for Delhi International Airport—can now offer advertisers access to an audience of 30 million travellers, accounting for over 50% of air traffic in India.
Mumbai International Airport Private Ltd (MIAL) on Wednesday awarded the advertising licence to TIMPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL), which operates the Radio Mirchi network. TIMPL operates its out-of-home media business under the brand, Times OOH Media.
The license involves designing, setting up, development and maintenance of the advertising opportunities for a period of three years, and covers more than 7,000 display opportunities ranging from hoardings around terminals, approach roads to terminals, terminal buildings and aerobridges.
