Thiruvananthapuram: About 69 Delhi-bound passengers booked on an Air Sahara flight were stranded in Thiruvananthapuram airport since last evening as the aircraft developed a technical fault at Male from where it was to make the return flight. The flight was to have picked up passengers from here on its way to Delhi via Kochi at 5.50 p.m. yesterday.
A technical team was sent to the Maldivian capital to rectify the fault in the aircraft, the sources said. After being stranded for about 24 hours, the passengers boarded the Air Sahara flight which took off at 10.25 pm, airport sources said, and arrived safely in the Capital.
