Air Deccan to offer 1 lakh free tickets

Mumbai: Air Deccan, country’s largest low cost airline, has announced a mega offer of 1,00,000 tickets, free excluding taxes and surcharge.
The tickets will be available for sale across all sectors and all its 350 flights for travel between July 1, 2007 and August 31, 2007.
Bookings for these tickets will open in the midnight of May 5, 2007, and close at May 6 midnight, 2007.
July and August are considered to be lean season due to rains.
Air Deccan is primarily selling tickets through the Air Deccan website. Apart from website, the free tickets will be available with Air Deccan airport counters, travel agents and call centres.
Air Deccan has the largest network in India today covering 65 airports, plying over 350 flights a day.
