Indian Airlines passengers stranded at Changi

Singapore : Anger and frustration: this is what many passengers of an Indian Airlines flight are feeling right now at the Changi Airport.
If everything had gone smoothly, these passengers would be in the southern Indian city of Chennai this very moment.
Scheduled to take off at 9pm on Friday, they were however told that Flight IC558 would be delayed till Saturday.
Most passengers affected were given help to rest at a hotel. But there were some, like Kannan from Chennai who said he did not get any help at all.
He said: "Yesterday I bought first class tickets. But now, they're saying the flight will be here today, will be here tomorrow and making us live here at the airport. There is no proper response from Indian Airlines."
Indian Airlines says the delay is due to engine problems and that once resolved, the flight will be ready for take off. It refused to give any other details.
