Mumbai: Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) on Tuesday made its first set of job offers to employees of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) here as part of an agreement signed with the government agency.
The offers were made to 358 employees comprising 65 executives and 293 non-executives, an MIAL release said here.
The offers by the private developer have been made with an objective of staffing key positions at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) and take into account the past performance and qualification of the AAI employees.
As per terms of the operations, maintenance and development agreement signed with AAI, MIAL has to make offers of employment to a minimum of 60 per cent of the AAI employees within three years of taking over operations of the airport.
