Delhi: State-run carrier Indian and logistics major Gati Monday said they were launching a joint courier service, named IC-Zipp, to tap this burgeoning business in the country.
'IC-Zipp is being launched in 119 cities in the first phase with an aggressive tariff in the range of Rs.50-150 for 500 grams packets,' the two companies said, adding its features include door-to-door pickup and online tracking of packets.
'With the largest air network of Indian and a complimenting surface network of Gati, IC-Zipp service will facilitate the customers to receive parcels at their doorsteps even in the remotest corner of the country.'
They said customers can rely on the network for dispatching business proposals, signed contracts, mass mails, print proofs, small packages and even architectural drawings on time.
