Aeroflot Russian Airlines and JAT Airways, a Serbian carrier, signed a memorandum of mutual understanding, international transport forum announced.
In the framework of the memorandum Aeroflot showed its interest in JAT Airways' privatization and the company's shares.
Aeroflot and JAT Airways will create a bilateral commission that will examine terms and conditions of Aeroflot's participation in the company.
Aeroflot is the largest Russian air carrier; it covers 39% of the international and 11% of the domestic market. The working interest is held by the government, 30% - NRK held by A.Lebedev, 15% - top managers.
