Air traffic to and from Muscat continues to be disrupted following the cyclone that hit the Sultanate of Oman.
Although the cyclone hit Oman Wednesday, Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has cancelled its flights since Tuesday as a precautionary measure after cyclone alerts were sounded in the country.
Oman Air operates daily flights to Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and six other destinations in India.
Besides Oman Air, other Middle-Eastern, Sri Lankan and Indian carriers also operate flights to Oman. On an average, around 1500 passengers fly daily from Kerala to Oman.
