Thiruvananthapuram: Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has temporarily stopped flight operations from Muscat following closure of airport in view of cyclone.
The flights of Oman Air to eight destinations in India, including Nedumbaserry and Thiruvananthapuram, did not operate on Wednesday. The airline also operates from Muscat to Jaipur, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
Airline sources said the Oman Air would not operate the WY 815/816 to Thiruvananthapuram WY 827/828 to Nedumbaserry on Thursday. The airline would take adequate steps, including introduction of additional flights, to clear stranded passengers, sources said.
